Have just built myself a new machine, going from an Athlon 3700+ and XP to a shiny new Phenom II BE550 (unlocked to four cores and running at 3.6Ghz) and Win 7.

Yet I find a certain reluctance to use it. I always suffer this when changing computers. I type this on my old trusty one. It's like an old jumper, comfy, cosy and an old friend. The new one is, well, newer, faster, quieter and superior in almost every respect and yet I'm dreading the old routine of having to find and download all the stuff I have on this one, and am finding every excuse not to get on with it.

Ah well, I guess in time I'll feel the same about the new one when the time comes. :)

Lol, it's not that I don't 'want' to use it, I'm just dreading the thought of having to find my way around Win 7 and install all the progs I use all over again.

I know it won't be so bad but I'm getting too old for all this technology malarky :)

XP, we got on very well and I use Win 7 at work so it's not a total new thing, didn't stop me spending 20 minutes the other night trying to find the email prog in 7 before discovering it doesn't come with one!!!
