Old CPU question

I have just unlocked the multie on both cpu's but my crappy motherboard (ECS K7VMM+) will not allow me to adjust anything regarding the cpu.
So I ran Super Pi 1M test on both cpus with same HSF and there was only a matter of seconds in it
Duron 1400mhz 2:26 @ 35oC
Athlon 1530mhz 2:20 @ 37oC
If i can find a cheep motherboard that will allow me to clock these two then i will but at the moment funds are too tight as i have just lost my job
Im going to stick with the XP1800 as its a few seconds faster but it dosent realy matter that much i only have to wait till after xmas an i will be getting a new system anyway (I Hope).
