Old film about computer kid that Breaks into a bank

Hey guys/girls.

I am trying to find a film i remember seeing as a kid, Its about a young kid that is very good with computers/electronics, his dad i think was a cop and wants him to be more into sports. i think he breaks into a bank but that's about all i can remember.

Nope, none of them. I remember my grandfather having it on VHS in the 80's so im guessing it could have been some cheap B movie that I wont ever find again
