Old film camera worth anything?

My gf's mum gave us an old Minolta Dynax 3000i with a carl zeiss 70-200mm jenazoom lens. The body seems to be worthless (£10 on fleabay) but I was only able to find a faulty lens for sale at £50 that was the same, so I don't know if it's worth anything or if I should just keep them as a project. It might be fun to buy some film and have a go at proper "no idea what this will come out like" photography, but if it's worth selling I'd do that.

If you had a normal or everyday lens to go with it, you might find a photography student might want it. Failing that you might donate it to a local college or sixth form school.


I loaned my EOS300X to my friends daughter for her A-level photography course.
