Just some idle musing.

I'm been scanning all the old family photos bit by bit. I've got a document scanner for the normal sizes 6x4 and similar. But there are few large photos I might like to scan.

I've acquired an old Cannon 9000f MK1 missing the slide attachment but it's no longer supported in W11. I see there's some black friday offers on 3rd party drivers like Vuescan. Is it worth picking this software up for this, or just send out the photos to get scanned..

I ended up getting the years license on the black Friday deal. I'll either do the scanning by then or I'll never do it.

It's just of hobby, but it's becoming unviable due to time, space and cost. If I had a man cave it would be different.
