Old fps game for old lappy?

will look into all those games, cept for stalker then  ...

Btw out of interest, is there any way to disable multitexturing in mohaa, with a console command or .ini editing? As I think that's the only thing stopping me from playing it...

Just installed ut goty edition on my lappy, and it runs almost maxed :D , doesn't look that bad actually, also a lot of maps I also have in 2k4 ( my 1st ut game was ut 2k4...), overall very nice game but it ate a lot of the lappy's small 12 gb hd'd, any small fps games left that are a must to try?

I suppose in the meantime ill look @ quake 2 and doom 2.

Oh and another request, any good TBS games, already have civ3, but moving is awful due to no numpad, have to click for movement if i want diagonal moves... (and diagonal moves are completly impossible on civ1 & 2)
Already have Space empires 4&5, civ1-3, botf, colonization, but would like some more.

Also copied commander keen 1-6 on it :D , and tetris offcourse, and an old footy game called striker.

With rts I have enough I think, got empire earth ( untested yet though), aoe1 + exp, aoe2, c&c ra, installed openttd and stuff, might install pharaoh on it :D , rollercoaster tycoon perhaps to revive childhood memory's :D ?

Hmm also racing games, I have death rally somewhere and carmageddon2, carmageddon 2 seems to dislike me as each time I change settings it crashes, and default controlls are set to numpad, wich my lappy lacks, death rally I need to reinstall/recopy on it and test it.
Any other racing games worth mentioning?

Anyhow in short, any good low space FPS games and good TBS games not mentioned yet?

What is it, googling gives few relevant results, only planet kingpin on gamespy is relevant, and when i try the demo link, it just redirects to fileplanet.com?

Quake 3 Arena! !

Just been playing it on my main pc (8800GTS which I think fell asleep) and I havn't had so much fun in ages!

I set up a game on nightmare difficulty with 6 bots in the first arena (designed for 1 on 1) and it was carnage! So quick!

Anyway ahem yes quake gets my recomendation!

Also check out some of the freeware games based on the quake 3 engine as some are quite good.

hmm out of interest, is there some kind of internet game database, like imdb for example but then for games, so i can check all the games that came out between 1998 and 2002 or something, to try em on my lappy?

Keep the recommendations coming people :D .
