Old G4 –*Server?

[Universal]

I was recently given an old G4 Power Mac from work.

Specs –
Power Mac G4: 1.25GHz
Memory: 1GB
Hard Disk: 115GB

I also have a Cinema display which came with it? I am able to connect this to my Powerbook? Do I need a converter?

I was thinking of using the computer as a server. Is this possible? I was thinking of installing Leopard on it and use it as file storage.
