Long shot this thread , but I'm finally going through my old Outlook Express emails that i saved (.dbx files)
and just downloaded a viewer to go through my old emails


I found out that i was in yet another UT99 clan called

GuerillaSHEEP

(around 2003)

clan leader was "Drenai " (i think)

Anyone heard of this clan?

what was your clan called?

I was in Pandemic Legion in Eve Online.

If anyone knows Eve Online back in the day, we used to fight 300 with 50 and win.

I guess the other.. wasn't quite a clan but online community was Bry's NS servers (Natural Selection) which was a Half Life mod.
 
Unreal/UT I ran quite a successful clan called OTH (Oh The Humanity) on Wireplay. Won a few competitions.
A simpler, more elegant time :p
 
Played in a lot of clans over the years - mostly Quake series (including long spells spent in US clans OCI and EKM for competitive tournaments) and Counter-Strike. My close friends and family tend to casually use ATen (Antagonistic Tendencies) as a clan over multiple games - it has wound down a lot these days but used to be fairly active at one point.

Rooks and Kings main advantage was being organised on a level few other entities were in the game at that time. Speaking as someone of average skill at best in the game many of their players were pretty average skill wise but they were organised with solid fleet compositions and leadership who had solid understanding of the mechanics, etc.

Had my main Eve Online characters in the Overclockers alliance in the The Xenodus Initiative corp, then moved to Questionable Ethics with the Ministry of Inappropriate Footwork alliance, now parked up in Antagonistic Tendencies which is clan close friends/family have used over several games. Also had characters involved with WI. and PL - my brother and a friend of his were capital asset directors for PL back in the day when it was first getting on its feet.

Best fights I ever had actually we'd take a carrier and ~15 T3s and poke nullsec home defence fleets, some went better than others but there is something I really enjoyed about having 100-300 man fleets whaling on you using being better organised and a couple of very skilled FCs to even the odds. Sadly I don't find the state of the game these days even remotely appealing - I'd rather pull my teeth out than play it and I do miss Eve of circa 2013 or so quite a lot.

Some glorious hrs spent playing enemy territory on the jolt servers was in clan but we was all **** apart from one guy who eventually was nabbed as aimbotter.
 
The only clans I used to be in was SST in the days where I used to play Rainbow Six and Rainbow six Rouge Spear.

These where all played through MSN Gaming zone and joining lobbies from there.

This then moved over to CS, CS Source and CS GO which was BOC and TG

Apart from that for Div\Div 2 and the Diablo 3 and 4 games I used the OCUK clans within the games

Jeeeez.

Feels like so long ago, Shady CS I think, some ex members still on here

Also Clan Sardaukar or SDKR I think, that was was Team Fortress
