What to do? I have about 250 games on cd and dvd dating back to the mid 90's And not sure what to do with them. They are all over 5 years old and will never play them again . I was going to take them down the dump but am wondering if any might hold some value in the future. Anybody else had a similar issue?? And what did you do

Some games are still worth something, particularly those in their original big box. I've sold a couple of dozen on Ebay over the years (search "big Box" in games on ebay).

Others are practically worthless. You might get some money for selling them in bundles, but otherwise it's just landfill.

Keep a special look out for older games that are not available for digital distribution on platforms like GOG. They are the ones that are going to have the highest value (unless you sell specifically to a very niche collector audience).

I've got a big box of old games as well and I think I'll just throw them out as most of them are available on GOG and Steam for cheap prices and most people who want those games these days will get them from there instead of buying the old CD / DVD release.

They might not mean much to you right now, but they might in the future. I dearly wish I'd held on to all my old games and consoles. I keep picking them up in car boot sales now, trying to find the old classics that I loved back in the day. They look great on the shelf.

IMO I would hang on to them unless you really need the space/money.

If they are just sitting on the shelf, what is the point?

I have a 5x6 meter study for my stuff . No loft or cellar space. The garage is for the car and bike and if i put them in a shed they will just get forgot and rot ..And i need the space for my vinyl as the collection is growing . All my games are now on steam or the likes.. Its all about space!!!
