Has anyone done any testing on the impacts of the nvidia overlay (new geforce experience) vs the old geforce experience in terms of FPS impact?

i dont use shadowplay so im interested in understanding if the overlay impacts performance ?

im considering using the old GFE and the latest driver.
 
When did it no longer become ShadowPlay and became GeForce Experience? As I never got to play with GeForce Experience until 382.33.
