soon im gonna buy a new card but currently my old GTX 295 has been over heating and cutting out when gaming, seen it north of 105 degrees.

so far i have

-- removed dust
-- have good air flow
-- installed EVGA precision

didn't die after installing precision, this but 105 degrees is pretty worrying right?

im sure it will cut out again too.

what about airflow to your case ? Its all well having a clean card but have you cleaned the rest of your PC ? You didnt say.

Sadly you may find that Core has a cover and that the paste has dried out between it and the die. Look into it as it might be worth carefully removing it and running the cooler directly on the die ;)
