Old graphics card - new build

I have recieved all the parts for my new build except the 5870 as Im in the queue.

I was thinking of building my rig with my old geforce 9860GT for now until my new graphics card arrives.

Would it be ok to do this and then switch to the 5870 when it arrives? or will there be any problem?

i Will be running win 7 64 bit. Also have a i5 @ 4Ghz and 4gb of RAM.

It'll be fine. Just make sure you properly remove the nVidia drivers before you install the 5870.
