OK, bear with me as i'm a techie noob. Right:
I have taken my old hardrive from my PC (7 years old) and want to add it to my new PC (1 month old). I have slotted it in and i can see a power cable, but i cannot locate a data cable to connect to the system.
On the new PC all i can see is SATA cables, but no SATA input on my old drive.
On the old hard drive there is a long place to input a cable, a small slot and then the place where i think i connect the power.
My question is, how do i connect my old drive to my new PC so it detects it and i can transfer data from it?
