Since windows 7, which will be arriving at my house next week, is likely not to accept my old scanner but should accept my old printer, it seems I'm going to have to buy an all in one. :( Might as well, since buying a separate scanner isn't much cheaper. Pity because both my machines work flawlessly like brand new. They are the HP scanjet 3300c and the HP deskjet 840c. So, if I sell them both, do you think I'd get much for them towards the cost of a sub £50 all in one?

This is my first post, so will introduce myself soon to the community but...

Forgive me if im wrong but doesnt the release edition of 7 include some kind of winxp emulation software so that you can install old hardware that worked with xp ?

Also you could check out microsoft virtual PC http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/

May save you upgrading printer/scanner ! :)
