old ish mobo need more memory

Am about to up grade my pc and i was gona give my old parts to a friend but i wanted to know is there anyway i can upgrade the memory on it first
Cpu.AMD 64 3200
mobo am not sure i think is a MSI K8T NEo2 via k8t800pro
memo.2x512mb am not sure what type though
I would like to try and get it up to 2gb before i give it to her

four DDR RAM DIMM slots that accommodate up to 4GB of dual channel PC3200 memory.
you will have to make sure it matches your current ram .

why not get this

ive got 2x512 in it now and i think its SDRAM as it as 2 little cut in it.So is it this type i need
