Old laptop

I have an old Lenovo X41 laptop.
I managed to put a mSATA 128GB SSD AND 4GB RAM on it and have laos managed to install Windows 7 on it.

The trouble is when trying to browse the net, CPU usage jumps to 100% and it is bloody slow!

What should I do with this laptop?

It's never gonna be fast, could try linux if you feel like wasting time.

Single core Pentium M? gonna struggle to do much with that these days - most modern web-browsers trying to render the complexity of many websites will not run well on it at the best of times.

Imo it's not worth anything so I'd look into recycling instead.

There is still a following for old Thinkpads, particularly T and X series. People collect them even though they aren't worth much. So it's probably worth asking on the Thinkpad subreddit r/thinkpad where to sell. I think there is a athinkpads for sale subreddit somewhere too.
