Old magazines worth anything?

Got every edge magazine from about 2005 or 6 to 2021.

Pretty much comple ps1 set offical mag with discs

Some arcade retro gamers mags playstation pro etcetc.

Got them from a friend's parents after he died. I've flicked through them for some nostalgia. But damn there's a lot.

In my opinion, there will be the odd copy that's worth something due to the review or promotion of a popular game of the time.

But, most of these magazines have been scanned / archived onto the web if copyright allows.

I have a stash of vintage aeroplane magazines that I hoped would be worth something. And nope. Gumtree and ebay, no one's interested.

You used to be able to shift older magazines on eBay, but that has tailed off recently. I suspect you'll need to hold onto them for a long time for them to be worth anything.

I don't know about value but I regret letting my parents bully me into throwing away all of my old mags from when I was a kid. Sounds like you've got a lovely little trove there - I'm very jealous! lol.

I remember when the Edge magazine started.

You could probably sell them as a job lot on Ebay. There are magazine collectors out there.

I miss that feeling of looking forward to seeing the latest copy of a Magazine (N64 Magazine, Official Nintendo Magazine, GamesMaster, PC ZONE to name a few)
