Does anyone remember the guy posted a few years ago, I was a mere lurker in those days.

But it was an old guy known by a member here, he performed possibly in a pub, doing karaoke, Queen and whatnot.

And he sold CDs of it to raise money for charity.

Some of his hits were don't stop me now, and do wah diddy.

Unfortunately, these are the only ones I have left, would love to get all his other stuff back, hilarious guy.

Here are the songs for those of you who don't know who I'm on about.

Don't stop me now Do wah diddy

The guys name is Howard and Bohemian Rhapsody is here - Bo Rap

Leave it with me and I'll see about getting the rest to you.

Heres a pic of Howard to wet your appetite -

At one time last year he was filling the Sneyd Arms to the rafters and he's sold over 300 cd's - beat that Meatloaf.

Anyway, I've got an afternoon gig at The Huntsman in Burslem and my throat is so sore that I'll be singing like Howard :D

I won a comp at the huntsman last year. Do they still have karaoke there?

While we were packing up the karaoke guy was setting up so yes - on a sunday evening and wednesday evening (according to Quilpy's flyer).

Yeah, cheers Dm :(

My ears are offended. BTW, can you sing Bo Rap, Dm?

I've only ever sang one Queen song - Tie Your Mother Down but I reckon I could do a decent job of most Queen songs and I could actually come back a bit on the vocals instead of squealing all the time. The problem is the music because theres always that part that suddenly gets difficult.

No piracy  ;)

The songs are in the public domain and were recorded straight out of the karaoke machine. The cd's that were sold were the ones that my Daddy put together from the very poorly recorded karaoke tapes. They are free to copy but if you feel you need to send the Air Ambulance some money then freely do so.

Thanks for getting them all up on there for me dmpoole, appreciated.

Let me know if you need an e-favour in return ;)

The best favour to do is to put a donation into the next Air Ambulance collection you see.
