Hi all

I've been here nearly 10 years :p building systems on and off, been out of it for a few years but need to build a gaming rig for my son's 18th, fast, like order tomorrow!

Got a full size case, optical disk drive and he is using TV for monitor/gaming, that is it. Only £500-£600 to spend. He has a laptop for boring work.

I would like a Gigabyte motherboard, that is really the only stipulation, is this the best I can get please? Don't want to be overclocking now. May try and overclock a bit when I need to squeeze the system later.

Is there a plan to overclock? You may be better getting a non k model CPU and using any "spare" cash to get a 7950..
