I've actually bought a bunch of stuff from Overclockers but I used to buy it cash on the counter. My first purchases were parts to make my first modded PC which eventually came second in the i10 LAN party modding competition. Not bad for a first attempt. I do remember having to wait for Overclockers to cut the extra holes in my case for the four 120mm case fans.

This was back in 2002 and while the case ended up slung in a junk pile eventually (only came across it again last week) the guts of the computer ended up in a server that is STILL running fine today. Yup, other PC's I've had come and died on me yet that old 1.4GHz Thunderbird is still a GO. :D

I found this reference to it on the Multiplay site (amazing the stuff you find of the things you do on the net...)

I'm still using a GF2MX Twinview and it runs MOH at 1024x768x32bb and with all the detail up high with no lag at all.

Mind you I got a T-Bird 1.4GHz and the gf2mx is a Gainview "golden sample" version... runs sweet.

I put it in a rig ready to be overclocked but as I have no problems I never bother upping the speed (an overclocking utility came with the gfx card would you believe).

I can't believe I used to think that was good hehe.

Well for a while I switched over to Xbox and Xbox 360 gaming (i10's huge plasma screens with Halo Combat Evolved on them got me hooked) but now I've got a middle of the range gaming PC from these guys at Overclockers... It's only a "Titan Exodus" Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz but it will do me for now I think. Seems like I have come full circle again.

Anyway... waffling over... Hi y'all.
