hi,

I just got home from my Uni house and didn't bother to bring my monitor back since I have an old one here. Problem is, it doesnt seem to work with my geforce 7300gs computer...

When it boots up, it gets to the "Welcome" windows screen, but appears erroneus, then blanks out... I believe the system is still running but no visuals can be seen.

When I first loaded it up, it got into windows, but juts looked messy... all the text wasnt readible, and it was really dark. Now it wont boot at all.

I got my old xp1900, radeon 8500 computer out of the garage, and the monitor works perfectly

any ideas why?

oh,

and i'm buying a TFT monitor tomorrow from any shop that is in driving distance... any recommendations on 17/19 inch TFTs that are below £130 ?

cheers

maybe the computer is trying to send the monitor a res it can't display, try using a different monitor so you can see whats happening then turning the res down.
