old motherboard cpu help

yo,

I have a gigabyte GA-965P-DS3P motherboard and because of money issues I just want to upgrade my cpu, graphics card and ram. I was considering getting a q6700 but I don't understand what it says on the gigabyte page about compatibility, in the column where it's supposed to say the compatibility it says "F5".. I don't know what that means and haven't been able to find an explaination.

really all I need to know is if a q6700 would work with my motherboard.
If not, I want to get the next best thing that will work.

any help would be appreciated.

I was going to actually that I did it earlier and it was totally uneventful, had no problems what so ever.
justintime was pretty much on the money though, I'm not big on PC hardware and don't know a whole lot about it which is why I ask questions on this ere forum In time I'm sure I'll learn more about it.
I ordered the q6700 earlier so I'm looking forward to installing it problem free (I hope).

I used @BIOS and it did everything for me no worries.
