My friend has an old Abit KG7-Lite with 512Mb Ram.
Been working great. But yesterday it would not start up. Keep getting this--
"CPU is Unworkable or has been changed, Recheck CPU soft Menu".
I have taken out the CMOS Battery and put back numerous of times. also did that other setting (forgot name) near battery. Also changed the Battery.
I still either get the above or " The BIOS is Dissabled" Been in bios and have reset to defaults and tried Optimum settings, but keep geting the same. I also get a clicking off sound in PC then a Very quick Blue screen, then restarts. Can't read Bluescreen is it's a split second n gone.
I think processor is an Athlon 2100+
Is the CPU that's going.
