old pc components

Have just been having a clear out and really should get rid of my old pc components !
I made a second athlon 3200+ based system that is used to play a couple of games LAN when mates are over but I have like another 3 systems worth here and there, pentium 4, 3 stuff.

So what does everyone do with their old components ?

I could build them up into working systems but they would prob only be good enough for word, music and maybe v.old games !

Im a bit like you, Ive got numerous components and an old P3 PC, 3 spare monitors etc etc.
Mine just sit in the spare bedroom gathering dust!
Ive tried to sell some of the stuff but its to out of date now and new PC's are so cheap.
I guess I will have to donate them to the school / collage so the kids can learn to strip them down and repair.

Yep parents

My dad had an ancient pentium 200 I gave him, fine for his limited web browsing use. He is soon to be upgraded to a p4 3.4 shuttle though :eek:

He wont even notice the difference.
That or sell it for 99p on e bay collection only. Someone will want it & save me taking it to the tip.
