I am talking old here like maybe 1997 or so, its Legacy Of Kain: Blood Omen. I dug out an old CD, and trying to play it buts its not having any of it.

I cant even do a full install, because despite there being 30 or more gigs on my C: it wont let me do the full install, and only allow me to do a partial install (it tells me not enough space on drive :/)

Suggestions?

I am running Windows XP SP2, 1GB ram, Venice @2.7GHZ and a X800XT.

*EDIT*

Not sure if this is the best place for this, I guess its more of a windows problem with not liking XP than the game itself, so its best here or better in gaming? mods?

You tried running it in compatability mode with Windows 98, or 2000.

Well, I basically have it (half) working. I done a comptability install on the install file, which allowed me to install the entire thing (yay there then) and I found a "hacked" file which makes the game run on windows XP. (yay there again).

It seems my system is to fast though, I was reading on a webpage the game freezes at load screens and I need to keep minimizing to desktop to allow me to progress :( any ideas peoples? :(
