I've got about 5 years worth of PC Gamer magazines in my room which i'm currently sorting out.

Are they even worth anything, or shall I just recycle them?

Had the same dilemma f couple of years ago with old BBC Micro Users, Acorn Users and some motorsport mags. Decided I couldn't be bothered, kept a few that were of particular interest to me and binned the rest - not sure if I lost out severely or not

If you can be bothered, maybe worth waiting for a free listing day on eBay, setting a reserve and sensible delivery / collection option and seeing what the interest is. Also worth looking to see if anyone has also sold similar and for what price

All my console and pc bags are in the loft in black bin bags... who knows :p Very much doubt they'll ever be worth anything but anything could happen.

Why not just shove 'em on eBay starting at 99p (So you'll have minimal listing costs), set a fair delivery price that you won't lose any money on and then see what happens. You'll still end up with more than you'd have gotten if you binned them even if they sell for a couple of quid it's just the hassle of shipping them then :p.

I tried to sell some old PC zone magazines a few years before the magazine stopped being printed, didn't get a single bid so took them to the recycle bin near Tesco and dumped the whole lot in the end...

I doubt PC gamer will sell but as said if there is ever a free listing day give it a go, shame really as these magazines cost upwards of £5.99 nowadays to buy in the shops..

does anyone still buy PC gaming magazines?

I stopped a long time ago, I do like to read the odd pc gamer now and again but I only in the waiting room if you know what I mean...

Yes the prices were extortionate...

Looked on ebay, loads on there, not a single bid, TO THE BIN!

Unless anyone on here wants to come pick them up, you've got about 8pm tonight to decide :p

If you've got any with specials from when really groundbreaking games came out, e.g. HL2, WoW etc., they may be worth something to a collector, but in all honesty, I think you'd have to be quite lucky to find a buyer!

I've got a bunch of 80s and 90s magazines at my dad's house (mainly Amstrad Action and PC Zone), definitely not worth the hassle of trying to sell. Keep a few for occasional nostalgia trips maybe.

Yep, not worth even bothering trying to sell them. The only people who'll want them will be collectors and 99% of the time they'll have them if you've got them. Plus they'll need to be mint.

You can try keeping them for 50+ years but even then they'll probably still be worthless. If it feels wasteful try and recycle them.

I've got the firstt issue of Edge kicking about somewhere at my mothers house, still in the plastic sleeve too. A couple on ebay atm with bins of £15 and £20. Not too shabby
