Old PC mixing memory

I've got a PC with 8GB of memorg, 2GB sticks x 4. What settings should I enter in BIOS, I have left everything at auto just wondering if it's ideal settings

all you need ot do is put the slower stick in slot one and you system will match its speeds to the others but running all at auto it make no differance at all so you good
