I have an older Enermax PSU at home kicking our between 550 and 600w. It's got a 20 pin connector and a 4 pin (i think). I'm thinking of getting an Abit Fatal1ty F-I90HD ATI Micro ATX board . Is this possible?

Yeah, it's more than enough power and most boards can survive on 20 pins power when they're designed for 24-pin PSUs. You can even get adapters that make up the difference if you're so motivated.
