Old question...Xbox vertical or horizontal?

tbh I think you are kidding yourself if you think that laying it horizontal is going to somehow prevent it from failing.

LOL ... I said FALLING not FAILING!! When the console stands up it's less balenced and if it's on the floor then the chances of it FALLING over are higher than if it's laying in missionary.

I suppse if it's standing up and you pull on the cable kinda at an angle it could still topple over.

I'd say vertically stood up is better, that's only because i've seen stands for it where it holds it in the upright position

Xbox egg timer equivalent show it vertical so that's the way I use it.

As has been said already it doesn't make any difference so long as you don't move it while it's spinning.
