old rad trying to find a fitting

Hi all i am trying to find a fitting for my old rad all i can remember it was made in the uk but it has not got G1/4" BSP thread its something bigger.

Are there no markings on the rad to tell us who made it? Would eliminate some of the guesswork.

A plumbers merchant should be able to sort you out. Easier than looking on the internet and trying to guess.
