Old ram making me lag?

Hello all, i have a AMD Phemon 9850 and a Geforce GT 440 and i was wondering if replacing my old ddr 2 ram would make me see big improvements in FPS?

I do not know a lot about AMD setups but memory does not make much difference to FPS normally. The biggest bottleneck for FPS is the CPU holding back the GPU.

ram makes little real world difference in games,
