Hi,

I'm going around whipping up as many retro gaming compilations as i can, before they become too rare.. ..

Here's what I've got so far, just wondering if I've missed anything..

XBOX
Midway Arcade Classics 1,2 & 3
Taito Legends
Tecmo Classic Arcade
Sonic Mega Collection

PS2
Capcom Classics Collection
Namco 50th Anniversary
Sega Classics Collection (though this is actually a remake of their classics)

From what i know, i need to get the PS3 ver of Sonic's Ultimate Megadrive Collection, and on the PS2 Capcom's Classics Vol 2, SNK Arcade Classics but other than that, not sure if there's any collections that i don't know about..

Anything that I've maybe missed?

I doubt these will become rare tbh. at least no where near as rare as the original cartridges. nearly every platform has had some kind of retro/classics collection or compilation over the years that usually just rehash the same retro games as before i.e. pacman, space invaders, arkanoid, sonic etc

sega ages on the sega saturn space harrier, afterburner 2 and outrun, all arcade versions :)

think there is about 3 volumes of that sega ages all with different arcade perfect games.

not sure how many volumes they put out though.

I'd love this compilation, but unfortunately i do not have a Saturn, so no go there... The Sega Classics Collection is what this 'should' have been, but they redone all the games to lose their original appeal !

the ps2 and xbox arent retro and media is so massively overproduced these days i cant see them being valuable. long gone are the days when it was expensive to roll out a few thousand copies of a game. cartridges cost big bucks to produce which is why there are quite a few rare nes games.

This is really for my own collection for when i was a kid playing games in the arcade.. Not really for investment purposes.
