I've been a member here for quite a long time and spent many hours overclocking the old AMD Athlon XP and Athlon 64 platforms back in the early 2000's.

I was digging through some old files and found the following screenshots:

Anybody else have fond memories of these good old days?

yes i do, unfortunately I do not have any screen shots but I still have many of my systems still in working order although dismantled atm.

I have a Athlon XP 1700 with 256mb ram with a Epox motherboard. I had so much memories with this. I also have a Althlon 64 3200+ with a Asus motherboard that if i overclock the cpu the AGP slot also overclocks also and crashes the graphics card, if my memory is correct. My IBM Aptiva pentium 266mhz is still in working order and I love that computer, regret getting rid of the monitor. Its my favourite computer of everything i own and then the athlon XP. Also have a Abit dual pentium 3 750mhz I think and I got that from overclockers ready made. I no longer have the CPU but one day will get the system back up if I ever get the time to.

I also have various other systems about but not in working conditions. I have lots laptops, actually have many more laptops than PC, but most are very old and on some are in working order, its usually the battery that is just dead.

Spent many a happy evening squeezing an extra 5mhz out of old AMD chips back in the day.
It was only when I got back into computers 4 or 5 years ago I went to Intel chips.

switching jumpers and even back in the good old days desoldering and soldering resistors all in the name of performance

kids these days dont know their born
