Hi,
I've dragged out my old Pentium 4 E5200 and Asus P5QL-E mobo and want to use it through my TV for media editing and general household PC duties.
The gfx currently are 7800GT NVIDIA and only support DVI.
I'd like to run it HDMI but with combined Video and Audio. Is this going to be an issue over PCI/PCI-E?
Do the cheap GFX cards support audio also? I want to avoid running a separate cable/audio line from the mobo (don't have a specific sound card).
Lastly, if the base gfx cards support audio over HDMI, is there internal connections for it or all through the PCI interface?
Cheers!
Andy
