Old Stuff....What to Do?

Ive got an Amiga 500, a 486 DX2 and a PII 266, all complete, monitors etc. What shall I do? Take the time to try and flog them? or take them straight to the scrap heap. I might destroy the hard drives first....never know whats on them

I would say donate them to a charity shop/school if you were considering dumping them. They might not want them though as a PC is a big thing to leave in the shop and a local school may not have a use for it.

Maybe give the Amiga to a cousin or something as thier first games computer? The PC would still be great for use as an office machine i.e MS Word, Excel, Lotus, Powerpoint etc etc. Know anyone who might need it for that purpose? Parents maybe?

Never used it myself, but apparently its just the place to get rid of your stuff without the hassle of making money

Im finding it hard to throw them out.......I cut my teeth using those bad boys! My 486 even has a turbo button! I might try out the freecycle as there is a group in my town.

My dad has taken everything to the tip

I could have had £30 in my pocket had him and my mum not been so impatient. Im gutted now. What a waste. But I just found all the games so I might get something for them? All boxed....Shadow of the Beast, Lemmings, etc. Theres hope.
