Keep the case, I'm a fan of it. Is Vista and OEM or retail? might need to filter that in.

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM £149.99
MSI P67A-G45 Intel P67 (Socket 1155) Motherboard ** B3 REVISION ** £99.98
Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive - £92.99
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit - £39.98
Corsair A50 High-Performance CPU Cooler - £23.99
Total: £418.33 (Inc Shipping)

Wouldn't of thought you could bottleneck that upgrade :)
You could swap out the SSD for Windows 7 if you wanted. Depends on your thoughts on Vista!

Ive go vista OEM, ive also got a basic seagate baracuda 7200 brand new...

what i wanted to know is my current spec bottlenecking at all ? should i just go for one of the ocuks bundles ?

In CPU heavy games then I would say that your CPU is the bottle neck.
Even though, like pastymuncher said, it can hit 4Ghz, some of these newer games like the quad core CPU's.
If you didn't want to get brand new then a Q6600 / Q8400 / Q9550 would slot in quite nicely.

If you don't mind building yourself you can get a little more for you ££.

Edit: you'll need a new version of windows if its OEM.

I did overclock it to 3.8 a year ago... but ended up putting it back to stock!

When i buy my new parts, should i just chuck the old, or are there people looking for older parts like these ?

and yes im looking at building myself... im looking at keeping my base case etc! just need a new mobo, processor ram etc

Defo try and sell them. People still buy your CPU for media PC builds etc.
you will need to have over 250 posts and have been signed up for at least 90 days
You need the above to get into the OcUK members market, but the bay will serve you just as well.
DDR2 is quite pricey atm aswell!
