Old timer needs help specing pc!!! :)

Well the only Deneb Phenom II cores that will be compatible with AM2 boards are the ones coming out in 1Q09. So if he buys now hes not going to be upgrading that soon and so by the time he does want to upgrade again those cores will be old news and all new AMD cores will be AM3.

The Phenom II AM2 cores are only good upgrade news really for people who already are on AM2.
