Other than the obvious ebay (which I'm not a fan of), where do you all sell your old gfx cards and other components? Or do you recycle via local waste management?

Most of my old PC components gets re-used in computers of friends and family - so I guess you can put me down in the "recycling" column.

You will also find many OCUK members sell on their stuff to other OCUK members using the OCUK "Members Market". Though that is only accessible after you have posted 1000 times and configured your trust (as well as having the account for over 180 days).

Wow when did this happen? I swear it only used to be 250 posts + 3 months membership!

But yes my stuff usually ends up on the MM, the bay tends to be more hassle than its worth. Saying that I have a cupboard absolutely stacked with fans and PC parts that I really should think about moving on.

Some gets sold on members market, some go's to family and friends. Ill need to have a good clearout someday, as i have several drawers and storage bins crammed with various bits and peices.

I've only really had 2 major upgrades in the last 4 1/2 years, a 1950pro > 3870X2 and then the 3870X2 to a 5870 (which I am currently using). Both of the sold GFX cards went to a friend, the rest of the hardware (E6300 and Q6600 respectively) went into machines in my office at work.

The only thing I have sold on ebay computer-wise was my old soft-modded 9800SE > Pro that funnily enough went to someone pretty local who bought it for his son and popped round and collected :)

My two old GTX 275 cards

One of them is now in my HTPC ;)
and the other one is in the family PC :)

And i have two 8800gtx cards sitting in there boxes in the loft :o

It was.

It changed on 18th January.

Criteria for MM access has changed.

Ahhhh I must have missed the memo, can only be a good thing for the MM IMO.

Back on topic, is anyone else quite hesitant to move on their old equipment? With the 'I might need it, at some point, maybe' attitude? I get the feeling this is why I have around 20 fans of various sizes along with a box completely full of cables that I probably will never use.
