Going to do a full clean out of my loop and was wondering if I should buy new fluid, I've been using it for a year and a half and temps seem great with it but they have slowley risen (Because of dust ect) The fluid im using is the Thermochill EC-6 blue. Its a nice colour and all but I can't get it with free del anywhere so would it be okay to use this once I've cleaned out all the blocks and replaced the tubing or will I have to replace the fluid too ?

Not (yet) got WC myself, but I would always replace the coolant too. Take a look at the Mayhems coolants, everything I've heard/seen about them is good (and I'm getting some for my system)

Would love to get it of ocuk but there blue stuff for mayhems and EK are sold out and I need to order tonight :(

Pretty big (tj07) and a big ek rez, took me a bottle and a half to fill it then more to keep the rez nice and full :)

Not when your just about to buy 2 SSD's from ocuk :( Have a few other things to get for my loop but ocuk don't stock them meh :-/

Just get some deionised water from a supermarket. £3 will buy you all the water you'll need for a long time. Buy a couple of kill-coils or some biocide if you really feel you want that bit of extra insurance.

Why? Amazingly, it doesn't make it work any better (in fact it may make it worse and give the bacteria and algae something to live on). Don't make me read another Mayhems MSDS - PLEASE!

No no! I mean to give the fluid some colour

I love the blue colour of my fluid in my clear tubes at the moment tho :(

it took me 10 drops to get a really deep blue. One small bottle will last many many refills.

Your fluid will be fine ifs its is not changed colour and still has that smell that EC6 has. Put it though a coffee filter and you can re use it in the loop. Its uses the same stuff we use in all our range as long as its clean and you can seen no extras in the liquid you can use it a little longer.

The normal recommend time is 1 year but you can push it way past that if you careful and i doubt you push the liquid to its limits.
