Older Call of Duty Servers Back Online(Xbox)

So the servers are back online for the older Call of duty games on the xbox. Is anybody else here going to dig through their old game collection and see which ones they have laying around?

I played some blops 2 earlier and loved it. It's crazy how cods from 10+ years ago are so much better than the recent releases.
 
i still play call of duty 2 yes all those years ago and still many on the servers. pc though not xbox.

not bothered with any COD after that tbh just pants.

I'd go back and play Cod4 or even MW2. They were full of cheaters when I last tried years ago. I still have the games. I think I have one of the black ops games too.
 
I’ve installed MW2/Black Ops 1/2 and I’m going to install MW3 tomorrow as well lol

Played a couple of each and had a right blast, it’s mental how different the games are now. BO2/MW2 were such a nostalgia trip

I played some Mw2, blops 2 and mw3 amd enjoyed them all. They are so much better than the current batch of cods. Hopefully the player count will increase further when ms puts them on game pass.
 
I'll play some COD2, COD4 & WaW when they arrive on Gamepass (i don't own them anymore), those were my favourites from the old games.
 
Jesus did I get smashed on MW2 but it has been a long long time. Still plays better than 99% of anything else I've played online in years. I have all these old load outs and have no idea why I used them or what they do but I'm going to sink some more time into this game.

Yeah with an ACR. God that gun was good. I did struggle to get any gun kills but I only had a handful of games and it doesn't feel anything like as laggy as it used to back in the days of 8mb connections. I found the maps packs too and downloaded them.

My son has been mouthing off about how much better he is so I got him COD 2 to try on Veteran. The moaning has been off the charts. I waited a few hours before telling him about infinite spawn invisible lines in the ground! :D
 
I've found myself enjoying mw3 the most, but the reason for that may be the fact that most players on it are rubbish :D I'm also currently installing blops 3 as I remember that being the last cod that I enjoyed.

Does anyone know how they play on Xbox Series X versus using a 360? I heard there's lag between the newer controllers versus a 360 one.
 
The two things I like the most after playing more MW2 are:

A) the menu music and sounds, maybe it’s just nostalgia but the music is incredible and so are the menu sounds it just sounds amazing
B) the ambient sounds that you get during the game, I played a match on Invasion and it felt like there was a larger war going on outside the map with the sounds it just added to the game but never took away from the audio of the game itself.

The game is just perfection.

Blops 3 was the last great COD to be released. It's been downhill since then.
