Older fairly simple golf game for pc? (XP)

Hi there

i was just over my grandparents house and my Grandad mentioned wanting a golf game for his computer like one he had many years ago. he has recently stopped playing golf in RL due to age and other things and i think he misses the sport a bit :D. The one he used to have looked like microsoft golf 95 from a bit of research :D

anyway ive just found one called links 2013 and tried the demo myself, however i think this may be a bit too hardcore for him, they are fairly good on the computer but i think something too realistic may be hard for him to understand

any suggestions? a bit silly i know but im not a sports/ or sports game player myself


thanks :) i may try him on the demo anyway but usually hes fine while im there then the phone will be ringing 10 minutes after i leave

That was the game title that instantly came to my mind too, however there pc is pretty old so wondered if it could handle one of those higher end games but may be worth a look for accessibility sake! Thanks
 
You could try World golf tour http://www.wgt.com , its browser based and free to a large extent. The graphics aren't exactly brilliant but he can play against others for a more social and authentic experience if that's his thing.
