That's standard price, knock off the Uni discount.

Right, it's turns out my gf wasn't looking at the discount prices 
With discount you get :-
13" 2.26GHz - £918 -> £789
13" 2.53GHz - £1,174 -> £1,009
15" 2.53GHz - £1,328 -> £1,142
15" 2.66GHz - £1,531 -> £1,301
15" 2.80GHz - £1,736 -> £,1475
Still quite expensive, but that's a significant saving. Tempting.
With discount you get :-
