Well peep’s oldphart got his retirement money, sorted the wife and my two sons’ out first and what was left new i7 build for me. The only two component’s I could not get from OCUK was my case and bay adapter, this build has to last a few years before I build another one also my youngest son’s PC is about 8yrs old so he will get the base unit I’m using now(see sig).

Here’s my spec –

CASE - Silverstone SST-FT01B "Fortress" ATX, Mid tower, full Alu. Black Chassis, w/o PSU or Window

The case work’s on positive air pressure, 2x 180mm fan’s air in with 1 fan blowing onto the rad area from the top, other 1 front bottom, 120mm rear air out where rad will go.

ADAPTER - Silverstone SST-CFP51B Aluminium Bay converter, 3x5.25" to 4x3.5" Black/ 120mm Fan

This will allow me to take out the 3.5” bay’s to unblock the flow of the 180mm fan at the front they reckon it’s a good mod from what I have read.

OCUK COMPONENT’S

PSU - Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply

BUNDLE - Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz over clocked to 4.00GHz

1 X Corsair H50 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1366)
