OLED 1440p or 4K

I'm looking at a 4K OLED but I am unsure about whether to go the full hog or opt for a 1440p? I currently have:

- GFX 7900XTX
- CPU 7800X3D
- RAM 32GB Corsair Dominator

The OLED (4K) I was looking at was the
- ASUS PG32UCDM
- Or the LG version but that is impossible to get at the moment

There seems to be better 1440p options and perhaps more stable for the long run as I can maintain a high frame rate using max settings. With 4K I guess would be stretching the system and perhaps be getting a low frame rate making for a stuttery experience? I'm assuming there is a huge difference between 1440p and 4K visually when playing games?
 
Gaming mainly and its a dark room as I usually play at night. My current monitor is an LG Ultrawide 34" 60Hz 1440p which is often used for work. Gaming is great on it but only 60Hz so not using my graphics card a whole lot :)
 
LG one is the holy grail of monitors but so difficult to find. This one PG32UCDP is the same as the LG with the dual hz support?
