I’d love an OLED monitor and im curious to know what people think about the likelihood of a monitor being released that meets my need? As someone who’s only ever been able to afford a midrange PC I doubt i’ll ever have a GPU capable of 4k gaming with decent FPS so I’d want to stick to 1440p but i’d also want it to be 32” since Ive been using 27” monitors for what feels like a thousand years. The problem is that £500 really would be my absolute max budget which appears not to be enough for the current generation of monitors.

There the 32" 4k monitors that can also be set to run at 1080p 480hz

I don't know much about these myself, But am sure someone else on here will be able to tell you about them and if they be any good for running with a lower end system

Edit: I failed to notice the £500 Budget :o:o:o

Will probably be selling a 5120 x 1440 49" oled on the members market soon for what I paid (£545 plus shipping) if you want me to give you a heads up when I list it. Its a Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L 00 with a years warranty. Nothing wrong with it just fancy a higher resolution.

Where abouts are you out of interest? Roughly I mean :)

Ah Lancashire I see, bummer.

I'd definitely be interested.

I was just in this forum to post sort of the same question "Realistically is a 32" OLED hitting around £4/£500 any time soon?" I don't need curved or anything fancy, was also tempted to just get an IPS (34" Gigabyte IPS on Bgrade for under £300)

I can't go smaller than 32" but this VA panel is annoying me, nothing wrong with it but the smearyness is noticable and I can't justify spending a fortune on something I really don't *need* -

32" 4K I doubt it for another year at least, maybe even two unless you get one 2nd hand and someone has to sell.

You can get a 34" 175hz for 499.99 now or a 27" 1440p 240hz/360hz
