OLED for work

Are there any OLED monitors for work purposes, reading text, coding or are they only good for gaming due to screen burn?

The bigger problem (for me anyway) is all current models are QD-OLED with a that triangular sub-pixel arrangement that makes text look sub-par, as there’s no Windows support for it.

Plenty of discussion on people using OLED TVs for productivity and daily driver desktop use, look for the 42 inch LG OLED thread for latest.

Eh? The PG42UQ/PG48UQ/FO48U are all normal OLED as well as the upcoming 27" LG 240Hz model. He didn't specify an Ultrawide model...

Biizzarely if you set the hdmi input to hdmi instead of PC on the LG Oled then the test is crystal clear. Downside is its only 4:2:0 chroma and more lag but if using it for work, you can flip between them when you want to game.

Been using the Alienware QD-OLED for work since April - no issues here at all, but that particular one comes with a 3 year warranty which covers burn-in, I probably wouldn't risk it otherwise.

I mean it's an absolutely killer screen but yeah can definitely see it getting something like word burnt in to it... the horror. At least give it the dignity of having a game burnt on to it lol

I do use it for gaming as well XD
