Anyone watching this? Not the most interesting to watch I know, but as an amateur Im watching it to pick up some good habits...

Team GB already out though against Ukraine, who are now facing a pretty much perfect Koreans, just a shame about the Bieber haircuts...

EDIT: Sorry was talking about Mens Team

Well mine costs £750 and I dont even use carbon, bet their arrows cost that much alone. At a real guess their setup must be over 2k

I expect robfosters comment was tongue in cheek ;). I cant do what they do at 50yds let alone 70m!

I hate compound myself - I do class it as 'cheating' as its so so easy to hold your draw and you can use telescopic sights too...

It may be cheating but when you have a problem with your arm, the help from the cams is a godsend. Saying that, i'd love to get a Mongolian bow to shoot.

The 2 finals have been great & the "10" to win was sooo tense to watch.
Sorry I meant it more in terms of Olympics and why its banned than an amateur using it - with a previously torn rotator cuff I know exactly why you use Compound over Recurve, Im still only in the low 30s draw weight wise for that reason, be a while til Im hitting much further than 50yds...

I missed the Womens Team so need to catch up on that - really enjoyed the short format, but I would never be comfortable shooting 8 arrows individually, that just takes some insane execution...

Gotta say I cant stand the single arrow shoot off to decide tie breakers. Totally unfair way of deciding a match - they should do another set imo. Am I the only one who thinks this?
Not really, Ive participated in matches with the same tie-break procedure, suits the new Olympic format too...
