Omen 15 (2018 model) replacing thermal paste.

Has anyone here replaced the thermal paste on one of these laptops.?
If so what thermal paste did you use and what was the outcome.?
Ordered some Kryonaut to put on CPU and GPU hoping that it will reduce temperatures a bit and maybe stop the fans spinning to max.
I got some old Liquid metal at home but don't like using it on portable devices as there is a possibility of it dripping and shortening something when carrying around.

Ok so replaced the paste today and it made no difference at all at least nothing that I can see.
Totally not worth it and on top of that the laptop is a pig to disassemble.

Fans may be spinning at max but the max temp you should see 2-5C drop?

Actually the CPU temperatures are slightly lower it seems but GPU looks the same.
I was testing it with looping firestrike combined test and before the GPU reached 74C and CPU I think about 80 on average and after I replaced the paste the GPU was fluctuating between 73-74 but CPU dropped by about 3C.
Maybe I should have used test that taxes CPU more and that would show bigger drop.

Should give Intel XTU a go aswell with undervolting the CPU slightly which also helps reduce the temps.

Yeah I got both CPU and GPU undervolted.
GPU is down to 920mv and CPU voltage offset is set to -0.105.
It is 100% stable that way and I don't try to go lower yet.
