Hi guys,

bought this the other day:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...ooling Kit (Socket 462/478/LGA775/754/939/940)

and i have this case:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...0B-W Aluminium Tower Case with Window - Black

Now there are two holes on the back ready for watercooling but due to the crappy manual you get with this i am finding it so hard to follow. It doesnt explain which screws you use where etc.

Its really annoying because these companies expect you to be psychic!!!

I am a noob when it comes to WC as ive never done it before but i got everything unpacked this weekend case open and just thought omfg where do i start. I lost all motivation due to the lack of information and just put my PC back together.

Anyone know of a better guide or am i better getting a company to Water cool it for me?

Wack the rad box on the outside of the case.

Very easy guide on installing the rad box...

With a 120.2 rad (biggest pic i can find atm)

Attach the rad to that with the fans on. :)

Wack the tubing through the holes in the back into the case.

One tube from CPU to rad, the other res to rad.

Then you need some more tubing to go pump to CPU block and one more going res to pump.

So it does

res --------> pump --------> CPU block --------> rad --------> res

Fill the loop up with coolant, and get ready to continue to fill up in a bit.

Get yourself one of these awesome little things...

Plus that into the main ATX power plug on your PSU. Plug in the pump, dont plug any other components in.

Flick the power switch on your PSU, pump should start up and collant should starting moving. Fill it up. :)

Leave it for like 24 hours to leak test it.

Making sure the tubing is on nice and tight on the barbs. Put some kind of tissue paper underneath all the barbs and check it regulary to see if you have any leaks.

Basically all you need to do. :)

You don't need one of them :P

Just use a paper clip, be really sure you join the right pins though, I'm not taking responsibility for any deaths/injury :D

Green wire and any of the black ones (nearest is best) and put some tape over the paperclip just to stop it falling out/accidently touching something it shouldn't. ;)

And as for the picture on the radbox, depending on the case you might need to put it so the radiator runs upwards and not downwards as it might block your pci slots.

And did you not get some good pictures and guide with your swiftech kit? I did which explained which screws to use where. I'll scan it and email it across tonight if you want.

i never. I got a very poor black and white manual that had a couple of pics but never said which screw #'s to use or anything. Very annoying. It explains in detail how to put the cpu block together but its the installation of the big fan thing i find difficult and confusing.

just downloaded the installation .PDF and omg... the guide is so much better... tells me which screws and is in colour!

The one i have is faded b&w and has pages missing by the look of it.
