OMG 144MHZ WOW

Smoother gaming experience sure but detail? Bs, these are good gaming monitors but the image quality/colours are mediocre at best.

agreed at 144hz - re-read the thread title and note my smilie

LOL I didn't even notice it was MHZ in the title :D So yea now I get it.

Lol I know I know it's a typo but honestly I had the asus 27-inch pb278q 2560x1440 and at 60hz I did not have as much detail as I have with this

Dude do you even understand what you are saying? We understand that you are amazed because you just dropped around 350GBP on a 6bit TN 1080p panel and we share your enjoyment but dude, lol, you cannot tell us a good quality 1440p screen has "LESS DETAIL". Every single person that has seen a good gaming TN and good gaming IPS screen clearly prefers the IPS for everything except counter strike lol. Tell me how a 1440p IPS with 70% more pixels at the same screen size, much much more colour depth and half the refresh rate is worse than a 1080p 6-bit TN with the lowest PPI on the market. Your only valid point will be blur reduction on fast-paced shooting. Nothing else.

EDIT: As it was said above, I don't mean any insult ofc but we need to state some facts here for his own good.

No, the 2233RZ is a TN panel. All of Samsung's 120Hz models have been TN and have had much better image quality than the VG248QE and 24" XL series. The poor setup of monitors like the VG248QE (do what you like on the OSD, things just don't look as they should) have caused many people to dismiss the poor image quality as something down to the TN panels. But that isn't the case at all.

i hope samsung get back in the game for their TN panels, i would love one 1080p/144hz from them
